Prof. M. Zied BABAI

Title: Advances in Spare Parts Demand Forecasting and Inventory Control: Models and Empirical Insights
M. Zied BABAI is Senior Professor in Operations Management at Kedge Business School. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris (France) where he also worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant for four years. From October 2006 to September 2008, he joined the Centre for Operational Research and Applied Statistics at the University of Salford (UK), working on a project funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC, UK). His research interests relate primarily to demand forecasting and inventory management with a special emphasis on the development of quantitative models. He is the Editor-In-Chief of Supply Chain Forum: An International Journal (Francis & Taylor), IMA Journal of Management Mathematics (Oxford University Press) and International Journal of Production Research (Francis & Taylor).
Prof. Jaime Buitrago

Title: The Mechanics of Tomorrow: Exploring New Frontiers in Engineering and AI
Jaime Buitrago is a Capstone Lecturer of Industrial Engineering at the University of Miami. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from MIT in the fields of Robotics and System Dynamics and Control Systems, and a Ph.D in Industrial Engineering from University of Miami in the field of Machine Learning. He is a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida and has held several positions in engineering and management consulting with companies in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. He began his career in Boston, as an engineering consultant for the “Big Dig” project, then opened his own practice in technology transfer. Later on, he worked as an executive in the sugar and steel industries. For many years, he has worked as a business consultant, advising industrial clients in Europe and the United States. He has founded several technology businesses and written numerous technical papers. His research interests are in the field of modeling business processes using classical dynamic systems control theory.
Prof. Noack Bernd

Title: Aerodynamic technologies for a gust-safe low-altitude economy
Bernd R. Noack is National Talent Professor and Chair of Artificial Intelligence and Aerodynamics (CAIA) at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Shenzhen, Professor and Chair of Turbulence Control at the Technical University of Berlin, Visiting Professor at Shenzhen Technology University, Visiting Professor at University Carlos III of Madrid and Fellow of the American Physical Society. At HIT, he heads a growing team with four laboratories for the aerodynamics problems of the low-altitude economy. For over three decades, he has worked on engineering turbulence control for transport vehicles in leading European and the US institutions, including the Max-Plank Society, German Aerospace Center (DLR), United Technologies Research Center (UTRC), TU Berlin and the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Prof. Noack has written about 300 refereed publications, including 2 international patents, 1 China Utility Model Patent, 6 books and over 160 journal articles. His work has been awarded with dozens of national and international awards. For instance, he recently received the HermannBlenk-Award, got the first senior ANR Chair of Excellence in Fluid Mechanics, and was the only winner of the annual von Mises award 2005. Mendeley/Stanford lists him as highly cited scientist and Research.com rates him as Top Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Scientist in China and worldwide.
Prof. Dimitris Sophianopoulos
Title: Hyperelastic Materials: Characteristics, Classification, Constitutive Laws and Applications in Mechanical Engineering
Dimitrios Sophianopoulos is a Professor of Structural Stability, Dynamics and Steel Structures at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece. He was the Former Director of the Laboratory of Strength of Materials and Micromechanics and the Former Head of the Structural Engineering Division. He earned his Ph.D. in (NTUA, Athens ,Greece) and his Bachelor in 1982 from the same Institution. He has published 55 papers in international journals and 71 in National and International Conference papers (Scopus 721, Google 1280 in Google Scholar citations). He is a member of the Editorial Board of 5 International Journals, a Reviewer in more than 15 high-impact international Journals and a member of ASCE, AIAA, Structural Stability Research Council and ISCES. He has supervised three (3) completed PhDs and numerous Master and Bachelor Theses. His Teaching experience includes undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses both home and abroad, as a visiting Professor.
Prof. Nathalie Devillier

Title: EU AI Regulation in Aerospace Innovation: Legal Frameworks for Autonomous Systems
Nathalie Devillier holds a Ph.D. in International Law and is an academic member of the European AI Office. Her areas of expertise include the ethics and law of artificial intelligence. She co-authored two reports for the European Commission: Liability for Artificial Intelligence and Other Emerging Technologies and Specific Ethical Issues Raised by Driverless Mobilities. She is also a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Strategic Research and has authored two books and around twenty academic articles on digital law. Nathalie Devillier is an Associate Professor at aivancity (Paris). As an alumna of the National Session of the French Institute for Higher National Defense Studies (IHEDN), specializing in Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity (2022–2023), Nathalie Devillier is certified in understanding the defense and security issues required for strategic-level decision-making.
